"Nampheud Taphao Lao" or "Nam Phut Thap Lao Arboretum" is located in Khon San District, Chaiyaphum Province. It is a clear water source that flows out from an underground spring and forms a meandering stream. The area around the waterfall is adorned with various large and small trees, with their roots protruding from the ground, creating a beautiful and unique sight. This natural setting has made it a popular spot for check-ins and photo opportunities, attracting many visitors.

The area around the source of the Nampheud Waterfall consists of a small stream. The national park has designated this area as restricted and off-limits to visitors. Just downstream from there, there is a large and clear pool of water where the bottom is visible, and you can see fish swimming around. The water depth is approximately 0.5-1 meter. Many people enjoy playing in the water at this location. The stream continues to flow, and there are some rocky obstacles and tree roots in certain areas. As the stream progresses, it gradually becomes shallower and narrower. Eventually, towards the end of the stream, it serves as a water source for agricultural purposes, benefiting the local community.

Nampheud Taphao Lao is indeed a popular recreational spot for both local residents and people from nearby provinces to spend their holidays. It is easily accessible, and there are designated parking areas within the national park, although it may be slightly challenging for inexperienced drivers due to some sections of hilly terrain. The natural surroundings consist of varying elevations, creating a scenic environment. The restroom and bathing facilities are comfortable, and there are several spacious rooms available to accommodate visitors without feeling overcrowded.

สวนรุกขชาติน้ำผุดทับลาว

    น้ำผุดทับลาว หรือสวนรุกขชาติน้ำผุดทับลาว ตั้งอยู่ในอำเภอคอนสาร จังหวัดชัยภูมิ เป็นน้ำใสที่ไหลออกมาจากตาน้ำใต้ดินและผุดขึ้นมา จนรวมตัวกันเป็นลำธารทอดคดเคี้ยวเลาะรอบๆ บริเวณน้ำผุดมีต้นไม้น้อย ใหญ่ มากมาย ไม้ที่แผ่รากออกมาโผล่พ้นดินขึ้นมาแลดูสวยงาม ทำให้ดูแปลกตา และสวยงาม กลายเป็นจุดเช็คอิน อันซีน อีกแห่งนึงเลยทีเดียว

    บริเวณของส่วนต้นน้ำของน้ำผุดจะเป็นตาน้ำ ที่ทางสวนรุกขชาติกั้นแบ่งเขตไว้ห้ามเข้า จ่อจากนั้นจะเป็นแอ่งน้ำใสขนาดใหญ่ ใสจนเห็นพื้นด้านล่าง และเห็นปลาที่แหวกว่ายไปมา ความลึกของน้ำประมาณ  0.5-1 เมตร คนส่วนใหญ่จะชอบพากันมาเล่นน้ำบริเวณนี้ ลำธารไหลลงไปเรื่อย ๆ มีโขดหินและรากของต้นไม้ขัดขวางเป็นบ้างบางจุด น้ำลำธารจะค่อยๆ ตื้นและแคบลงไปเรื่อย ๆ และส่วนปลายของลำธารจะเป็นการทำทางน้ำต่อออกไปเพื่อให้ประชาชนใช้ประโยชน์ทางการเกษตร

    น้ำผุดทับลาว นับว่าเป็นจุดพักผ่อนในวันหยุดของคนในพื้นที่และคนจังหวัดใกล้เคียง สามารถเดินทางมาได้สะดวก จุดจอดรถสามารถจอดในส่วนที่ทำการสวนรุกขชาติจัดไว้ให้ ค่อนข้างจอดยากสำหรับมือใหม่ เพราะพื้นบางช่วงเป็นพื้นเนินสูงๆ ต่ำ ๆ ของสภาพธรรมชาติป่ารอบข้าง ห้องน้ำ และห้องอาบน้ำ สะดวกสบาย มีหลายห้องไม่แออัด
